A couple of questions:

1. Does anyone own this camera yet?

2. Is it dodgy to buy SDHC cameras when SDXC could be available in the market this time next year and rendering cameras like the GY-HM100 obsolete very quickly?

I think with the current max limit of 32GB per SDHC, it should be sufficient to say the least. If 32GB can let us shoot 120mins of HD footages continuosly, I don't think is really necessary to get a 10 hours card  of 128GB SDXC.

Technology moves so fast that, what's "IN" now can be "OUT" after 3 years time. I don't think we need to worry about that. Also, the demand of bigger capacity memory card is slowing down, because the need for it is also dampend when cameras stops at 12MP and Video stops at 25Mbps.

Okie. Thanks very much for your views.
It's an attractive camera because of its size and weight. I've been lugging tape cameras and they're getting heavier and heavier for me ... age I guess.... Big%20smile

I am waiting for the Sony NXCam to make a final decision with which camera/format to go with ... :-)
But FCP doesn't yet support AVCHD natively....
